The Technical Investigations Section is responsible for physical evidence collection and analysis; investigations involving electronic and digital devices; and white collar crimes, such as forgery, counterfeiting, credit/debit card abuse and other forms of fraud.  The Department's crime lab and cyber-crimes lab are in the Technical Investigations section.
